TERMS & CONDITIONS

By attending a free taster, enrolling your child at any of our schools or holiday camps  you accept and are bound by the following terms and conditions and acknowledge that by ticking the agreement box on the enrolment form you have signed your ongoing agreement to them. 

 

This agreement is between "you" (the parent/guardian) and "ONLY YOUNG ONCE PERFORMING ARTS

This agreement is split into three sections

  1. Holiday Camps

  2. Weekly Schools

Your agreement is inline with the relevant school you have enrolled into.

HOLIDAY CAMPS

ENROLMENT AND ATTENDANCE

- By Enrolling your child in our Holiday School you give your consent for your child to take part in the advertised activities, in Singing, Acting and Dancing Classes, Staged and Filmed Performances.

- You agree and give permission for your child to be filmed, and understand and give permission for the footage to  be used at our private film screenings.  You understand and give permission for copies of the film to be made available for purchase to students parents and guardians.

- Should you purchase a copy of the footage you agree to keep this for private use and will not upload to the internet or share on social media channels.

- You give your consent for photographs and film of your child to be used in O-YO promotional material including but not limited to: this website, OYO's instagram and facebook pages and printed marketing materials.  If you don't want your child  to be photographed or filmed for use in our marketing  please let us know in writing.

- Enrolment for our holiday schools require full fees paid in advance.

- Sibling discount is available for additional siblings as long as there is one full paid sibling also enrolled.

- Upon enrolment you will be emailed full instructions for the holiday school week.  You agree to familiarise yourself with the contents of this email which may include but is not limited to - Uniform Policy, Dates, Timings, and other important information regarding the running of the school and safety of your child. The contents of this email forms part of our agreement with you and it is your responsibility to be familiar with its contents.

- Fees are non refundable, regardless of circumstances.

- In line with our safeguarding policy at our performances parents, guardians and any other member of the audience is not permitted to photo or video the performance.

HEALTH AND CHILD SAFETY

- You agree to pick up your child at the designated pick up time.  We cannot supervise or be responsible for your child beyond the agreed finish time.

- You will inform us and keep us updated of any injuries or medical conditions which may affect your childs safety whilst in our care.  

- Students participates at their own risk.  If there is any doubt as to whether they should participate you should seek professional advice and / or your child's GP.

- You will ensure your child is wearing correct clothing including foot wear as outlined in our introduction email.

- Any medication that is required for a student and is brought onto premises must be self administered by the student unless we have given written confirmation stating otherwise.

- In the event of an emergency we will call your emergency contact number.  It is your responsibility to ensure our records are kept up to date with the correct emergency contact details and that the emergency contact is available for the duration of time that your child is in our care.

GENERAL

- Whilst every effort will be made to keep the outlined  programmes the same as advertised, activities and content may be subject to change if circumstances outside of our reasonable control dictate this. 

- Whilst every effort will be made to keep teaching staff as advertised, if circumstances outside of our control arise then there will be a replacement.

- In the unusual event that a session needs to be rescheduled due to circumstances outside of our reasonable control, we will to let you know as soon as reasonably possible. 

- We cannot accept any liability for any lost or damaged personal possessions.  We therefore discourage students from bringing with them any items of significant value unless deemed completely neccesary.  Students are obliged to take care of any personal belongings they do choose to bring.

- Should you decide to join our Weekly School after attending the holiday school you agree to be bound by our weekly school terms and conditions.

This agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales and any dispute, proceedings or claim shall fall within the jurisdiction of the English courts.

WEEKLY SCHOOLS

ENROLMENT AND ATTENDANCE:

 By Enrolling your child in our Weekly School you give your consent for your child to take part in the advertised activities, in Singing, Acting and Dancing Classes, Stage and or Filmed Performances.

- You agree to your child being filmed and understand the footage will be  be screened at the advertised private screenings and copies of the footage will be available for purchase to students parents and guardians.

- Should you purchase a copy of the footage you agree to keep this for private use and will not upload to the internet or share on social media channels.

- You give your consent for photographs and film of your child to be used in O-YO promotional material including but not limited to: this website, OYO's instagram and facebook pages and printed marketing materials.  If you don't want your child  to be photographed or filmed for use in our marketing  please let us know in writing.

- Upon enrolment you will be emailed an introductory email.  You agree to familiarise yourself with the contents, which may include but are not limited to - Uniform Policy, Dates, Timings, Invoices, and other important information related to the health and safety of your child whilst in our care. The contents of this email forms part of the our agreement with you and it is your responsibility to be familiar with its contents and notify us if you haven't received it or have been unable to read or access it.

- Fees are non refundable, regardless of circumstances.

- In line with our safeguarding policy at our performances parents, guardians and any other member of the audience is not permitted to photo or video the performance.

LEAVING O-YO

- Upon enrolment your child is enrolled for the full 12 week term ahead.  Your child will automatical re-enrole for subsequent terms unless you let us know in writing at least 6 weeks before the end of the current term. 

- Should your child wish to leave O-YO you will provide us with 6 weeks (half a terms) written notice.

- Should your child be unable to attend due to illness, holiday or other reasons you will notify us in writing via email, or by telephone with as much notice as reasonably possible given the circumstance.

 

PAYMENTS AND FEES

- Fees are paid termly in advance in either one instalment prior to the start of term, or in two instalments, with one instalment due prior to the start of term and the remainder mid way through. Invoices will be sent out termly.

- Fees are non refundable, regardless of circumstance, illness or other.
